When we loved to go to Rhoaten's drug store.That was the only place to pick up your precriptions and get a choc. shake at the soda bar. They had those nice stainless steel bar stools.
The correct spelling of the name is Roaten's Drug Store. It was owned by Mr. Shelly Roaten. He, his wife, and two sons, Baptists, lived in North Rockport. All were splendid people.
Gosh that was the fun place to go. Get cokes have fun with friends before or after the show that we got in for a dime.
