Dr. Wood told us that he had an office upstairs here (Water and Main), before his "new" office was erected on the corner of Market and Austin. Bill Gray, another old timer here, said he rescued people from the 2nd floor here in 1919 storm. Bill was in the RVFD for more than 50 years.
