We all carried hand towels around so that you could rest your arm on while you were writing so you wouldn't soak your paper. The year after I graduated (1981) I worked on the construction crew with (Clyde Barre - Principal Barre's son) that installed AC in the HS. We had to tear out 600 of the old wooded crank windows and replace them. We also poured and hand carried the concrete slabs that the AC units sat on around the building. No wonder I have 3 herniated disks in my back! :)
